Al Kobaisi Readymix was established in the year 1988 by Mr.Essa Mubarrak Al Kobaisi, founder and chairman of al kobaisi group, winner of award for excellence in business from Sh.Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa , crown prince of kingdom of Bahrain. Though readymix division started initially with small scale production, today Al Kobaisi Readymix is one of the major suppliers of readymix concrete to the major and prestigious construction sites in the kingdom of Bahrain. The high quality production of readymix concrete, timely delivery and dependability made the factory, one of the kingdom’s foremost readymix suppliers.

During the year 2002 Al Kobaisi Readymix has ventured to erect another German make fully computerized batching plant to cope with the high demand in the market. at present the division has 15 concrete pumps with capacity of 27m, 32m.,36m. 42m, 43m and a fleet of 50 mixer trucks.

Al Kobaisi Readymix’s third batching plant is commissioned in early 2006 at hidd industrial area. this is a high capacity German make batching & mixing plant to cope with the growing demand for readymix concrete in the kingdom.

Al Kobaisi Readymix is the approved supplier of readymix concrete to various government projects such as Bahrain Defense Force, Ministry of Education, University of Bahrain, PWA, Ministry of Housing, Batelco, Banagas, ALBA, US Navy and other prestigious projects in the island.

Al Kobaisi Readymix is quality conscious and uses the best quality basic raw materials such as cement, aggregate, sand and chemical. our procurement department takes every care to buy branded quality raw materials and our laboratory department ensures that all the raw materials brought into the factory are meeting the required quality as per BS and ASTM standard. Al Kobaisi has been awarded with ISO 9001/2000 certification in the year 2002.

Al Kobaisi Readymix is fully supported by its another division namely Al Kobaisi sand & aggregate washing plant for supplying double washed sand and aggregate.

Al Kobaisi Readymix has its own quality assurance department with modern sophisticated equipments and qualified technical staff. this section is fully responsible for inspection and testing program to comply with the requirements of certain specifying authorities. every year batching plants and laboratory equipments calibration is attended to by our quality assurance department.

Al Kobaisi Readymix is also supported by its own maintenance department situated at Sitra. this department attends to maintenance job of batching plants, concrete pumps, mixer trucks and all other company equipments. This department is headed by experienced mechanical engineer and supported by qualified technical staff of various trades.
