Al Kobaisi Sand and Aggregate Washing Plant Division was established in the year 1992 situated at Al Aker. This Division was established with the intention of supplying quality Washed Marine Sand and Aggregate to the Al Kobaisi Readymix and Block Factory Divisions and Al Kobaisi Construction sites but in due course this Division has expanded its operation to supply to various Government, semi Government and major private projects and individual customers.

The Division operates with U.K. Make 4 Sand Washing Plants and 2 Aggregate Washing Plants, 6 Wheel Loaders, 25 Dump Trucks and Tippers

During early 2007 a new Sand Washing plant with a high capacity from Power Screen, International, United Kingdom has been installed for washing unwashed marine sand to cope with the growing demand in the market for the superior quality double washed marine sand.
